Future Projects

We've got a handful of games in the works. Watch this site for more details as these game progress. Keep in mind these are all working titles, so if you find some other game out there with the same name, don't sweat it. We have yet to release a game under its original name. Heck, the World of Esaene was originally known as the FuRPiG (it's a funny story - ask us at a convention sometime...)

Escape from the Junkyard!

Co-designed by Brant and his son, pick your vehicle and try to escape from the junkyard before the crusher truck gets you! You can choose a motorcycle, sports car, or pickup truck, and upgrade your ride as you wheel around the junkyard trying to find a way out. 30 minutes of fun for families or groups of up to a half dozen, ages 6 and up.

Rolling Thunder

Yes, it's back! We're slowly working on updating the rules and maps and trying to get this back out through the website. It's just going to be PDF downloads, but we think it'll be fun for Sunday afternoon quick-and-dirty sorts of games. Modern-era combat with a wide variety of assets, including commandos, targeting radars, headquarters units, and aviation.

Bandits!

It's also back on the drawing board. We're drafting a sample map and moving forward with the basic mechanics of adventures in the blackpowder age of scoundrels and villains. Look for interesting fun with duels, bounties, hideouts, and running from the law.

CardWars

Yes, it's still out there, and still being held up by the new Warfighter games and The Next Wars.

A mixture of traditional board wargame with a collectible card game. Of particular focus is the ability of commanders to coordinate the actions of multiple platoons and companies on the battlefield to increase their overall effectiveness. There are no random die-roll mechanics. All battlefield outcomes are determined by the cards in your hand. Multiple mission cards allow for a variety of paths to victory.

We think we have a solution to the movement mechanics, and we're testing this one now. We're also revising some of the combat mechanics.
