Who We AreWe're like a community college - very few tenured faculty, and a bunch of adjuncts. Never mind. I guess that's a joke only a few people would get.
Brant GuilloryBrant started writing and designing games in the early 1980s, about 2 weeks after he started playing most of them. The original World of Esaene rules were first conceptualized in 1989, and finally published in 1998. The City of Telndar was originally created in 1992, and published in 1999; the Pellinen Islands born in 1988 and published in 2002. Fortunately, the wargames haven't taken as long to come to market. The Warfighter rules started out in 2000, and hit the market in 2005, and the modular rules were born in 2003 and are now being published. Along the way, Brant dragged Chris into pitching in with Esaene, and although Chris only claims the magic system, he was also instrumental in creating much of the world, as well. Brant spent 4 years in the Army, 4 years as a corporate wage slave in the printing business, and 5+ years trying to survive grad school. Along the way, he's freelanced as a writer, designer, DJ, concert promoter, and roadie. He's also pulled 10 years in the National Guard. Travels with the family are high on the fun list, as are college football, the English Premier League, flat-water kayaking, and chasing the kid around the park. Brant's wife just wants him to finish school before his son does. Contact Brant at brant-at-bayonetgames.com.

Chris CaranChris Caran was born and raised in northern Virginia, moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in attempt to bankrupt himself with student loans at NC State University. Chris met Brant in 1993, Chris' freshman year at North Carolina State University. Chris was a Virginia boy who knew not a soul and Brant was a senior resident advisor in Metcalf Hall, then the freshman residence hall. They hit it off immediately. While Brant has moved around the country after graduating, Chris stayed put and has set down roots in Apex, North Carolina, mere miles away from where they both graduated. They still go to the occasional Wolfpack football game. Chris lives in Apex, North Carolina with his wife Elizabeth, daughter Athena, and his son Marcus. Elizabeth is a librarian for Wake county and is always bringing him home nice books. When not working, gaming or parenting, Chris spends his time writing, watching and playing ice hockey, and playing Xbox.

Over his career he served ten years with the 1st, 2d and 5th Infantry Divisions, with five of those years in various command positions. The rest of the time was spent at the US Army Intelligence Center at Fort Huachuca as a Master Instructor, Doctrine Writer, Deputy Director of the Battle Command Battle Laboratory, and Principal Technologist of the Distance Learning Office.
